Tsuen Wan Town Hall | Jazz School Bus：Jazz in Schools and Performance Programme

Organized by Count-in Music in partnership with Jazz World, “JITN” has been bringing diverse jazz experiences to the community since 2022. This year’s highlight project, “Jazz School Bus”, will present a special showcase and the public is warmly invited to join!

Over the past November, students took part in free jazz workshops where they performed classic jazz standards and a jazz arrangement of a popular song created by members of the Hong Kong Youth Jazz Orchestra. Through ensemble playing, improvisation, and interactive “jamming,” they discovered the joy and creativity of jazz while building teamwork and musical expression.

At the upcoming showcase, students from three schools will share the stage with members of the Hong Kong Youth Jazz Orchestra, presenting their learning achievements and musical talents:

– Lung Kong World Federation School Limited Lau Wong Fat Secondary School

– Hong Kong Taoist Association Tang Hin Memorial Secondary School

– Ho Fung College (Sponsored by Sik Sik Yuen)

Together, they will bring audiences an energetic and inspiring afternoon of jazz.

Remarks:

– Recommended for ages 6 and above.

– Audience is strongly advised to arrive punctually. Latecomers will only be admitted at a suitable break.

– The presenter reserves the right to change the programme, artists and seating arrangement should unavoidable circumstances make it necessary.
